Moldovan carriers going to Bulgaria to be exempted from authorizations to transit Romania

Chisinau, 27 June /MOLDPRES/ – The Moldovan carriers which travel to Bulgaria will be able to transit through Romania without special permits. The decision was taken in Bucharest by the Moldovan – Romanian joint commission.
According to state secretary of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure (MEI), Serghei Bucataru, the Joint Commission on Road Transport analises the mode takes place international road transport, difficulties that have arisen in bilateral cooperation and identifies solutions for them.
The MEI's press release states that during the meeting, it duscussed the tax on the use of roads by non – registered motor vehicles in Moldova, regulation of road freight services between Romania and Moldova, long time of truck stationing at points border crossing, as well as the authorisation of regular passenger transport services.
The Moldovan – Romanian Joint Commission is working in Bucharest on 26 – 27 June.
