More amendments on quality of electronic communications services to be published in Moldova's Official Journal

Chisinau, 28 June /MOLDPRES/ - The quality of electronic services provided through the radio-communication networks and stations will be improved. More amendments to the law on electronic communications will be published in the 29 June issue of Moldova’s Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial).   

Under the document, the National Service of Management of Radio Frequencies and Cyber Security will be empowered with additional competences – of measuring and assessing the quality parameters of the electronic communication services provided through radio-communication networks and stations.   

The legislative amendment will ensure the needed legal framework to objectively monitor the quality of the electronic communication services, which will contribute to improving the quality of the voice and data services within the mobile telephony services.  

The government, respectively, the National Agency for Regulation in Electronic Communications and Information Technology will bring the normative and regulatory acts in line with this legislative amendment in a six-month period.
