Moldova, Romania, Ukraine to strengthen efforts for fighting corruption

Chisinau, 29 June /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova will cooperate with the Kiev and Bucharest authorities to prevent and fight corruption. The government took a decision to this effect at a cabinet meeting today.
The agreement of cooperation between the governments of Moldova and Romania in the field of prevention and combating corruption sees making exchanging of experts, boosting the exchange of operative data and information, as well as increasing the number of joint investigations teams.
The agreement between the National Anticorruption Centre of Moldova and the National Anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine in the sector of prevention and fighting corruption was signed in Kiev on 30 May 2018. Under this agreement, Chisinau and Kiev will exchange data and information, will carry out special activities and investigations and will implement joint projects.
The agreements are concluded for an indefinite period and their implementation does not need financial spending.
