Head of diplomacy in Chisinau says new Moldovan ambassador to US manages to establish contacts with Washington officials

Chisinau, 02 July /MOLDPRES/ – Cristina Balan, the new ambassador of Moldova to the US, has already managed to establish contacts with the political, executive and Senate of America. The statement was made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi, in an exclusive interview for agency.

According to the head of diplomacy in Chisinau, the new US ambassador knows the field and shortly after appointment she managed to get involved and establish contacts with several American politicians, which benefits image of Moldova.

Cristina Balan was deputy chairman of the Democratic Party (PDM), and was appointed ambassador of Moldova to the US at the initiative of PDM leader Vlad Plahotniuc.
