Collections to national public budget increase by 16.4 per cent in Moldova in first half of 2018

Chisinau, 2 July /MOLDPRES/ - The collections to the national public budget (BPN), managed by the State Fiscal Service (SFS), increased by 16.4 per cent in the first six months of 2018 against the same period of the last year and stood at 18.16 billion lei.
The data unveiled by SFS today shows that about eight billion lei out of a total of 18.16 billion lei collected in BPN have reached the state budget, which is by 1.31 billion lei more against the same period of 2017.
As much as 1.94 billion lei was collected in local budgets, which is by 13.7 per cent more. The revenues collected in the state social insurances budget grew by 15 per cent, reaching 6.09 billion lei.
About 1.88 billion lei was accumulated in the mandatory health insurances funds, - up by 14.4 per cent against the same period of the year before.
The state budget for 2018 sees revenues amounting to about 37 billion lei and spending worth about 42 billion lei.
