Moldovan finance ministry continues to pay indexed amounts to persons which deposited with bankrupt state bank

Chisinau, 04 July /MOLDPRES/ – The Ministry of Finance initiated payment of indexed amounts for depositors of Banca de Economii a Moldovei (Savings Bank of Moldova) which had submitted applications for registration by the end of May 2018.

The money can be raised at any office/agency of state enterprise Posta Moldovei (Post of Moldova) by presenting ID. The heir will also have to submit the certificate of death and the copy of heir certificate with notarial authentication.

The money will reach depositors of BEM born up to 1991, including the first-stage indexed amounts and depositors born until 1941, including for the second-stage indexed amounts.

In the state budget for 2018, there are provided around MDL 50 million for compensation of losses on cash deposits of the citizens in BEM.
