Parliamentary friendship league Moldova – Japan to be established in national diet

Chisinau, 05 July /MOLDPRES/ – The dynamics of contacts between the National Diet of Japan (Parliament) and the Legislature of Moldova were discussed at the meeting of Minister of European Affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi, with the member of Chamber of Councilors of the National Legislature, a MP elected in Prefecture of Aomori, Motome Takisawa, the MAEIE’s information and media communication service has reported.

During the meeting, it was discussed the way to stimulate inter-parliamentary collaboration, including establishment of the Parliamentary Friendship League Moldova – Japan within the framework of the National Diet. The Japanese legislator announced plenary availability to further contribute to deepening the Moldovan – Japanese dialogue in all cooperation fields.

The interlocutors welcomed development of bilateral relations over recent years, especially political – diplomatic, commercial, economic, investment and cultural exchanges, expressing desire to expand, boost Moldovan – Japanese cooperation.

Motome Takisawa was Deputy Foreign Minister of Japan and visited in September 2016 on occasion of inauguration of the Japanese Embassy in Chisinau.
