Open-air sports ground to be constructed in southern Gagauz autonomy

Chisinau, 5 July /MOLDPRES/ - The construction of an open-air sports ground started in the Avdarma village from the southern Autonomous Territorial Unit Gagauz Yeri. Local patrons provide the financing of works and the purchasing of equipment.    

The sports ground will be built in the centre of the village on an uncared area nearby the kindergarten. “The goal of this project is to arrange the settlement in a modern style, as well as to create the best conditions for a sound lifestyle of the village residents,” according to www.avdarma.md.  

„After the ground is arranged, we will set apparatus for training, able to be used in any weather conditions and by different age categories. We want to make the centre of the village nice and useful,” the head of the construction works, Piotr Gargalâc, has said.      

According to Gargalâc, the ground will have an area of 256 square metres and the equipment will be bought from a plant specialized in equipments for the work in open air.  

The works are scheduled to be completed in Avdarma till 20 July.
