Foreign affairs minister meets Moldovan citizens settled in Japan

Chisinau, 5 July /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Tudor Ulianovschi, on a working visit to Japan, has a met a group of Moldovan citizens who study and live in this country, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s press service has reported.    

At the meeting, the Moldovan diplomacy head reviewed the main actions undertaken by the Moldovan cabinet in the process of reformation and modernization of Moldova on all dimensions. Referring to the support of the Moldovan fellow countrymen, Minister Ulianovschi stressed that this was one of the basic goals of the work of both the government and the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry. In the context, Tudor Ulianovschi referred to the organization of the Diaspora Days, due in Chisinau on 17-19 August, under the patronage of Moldova’s government and the principal objectives of this meeting.    

The official also said that, by their performance in Japan, the fellow countrymen contribute to the promotion of Moldova’s image, developing the bilateral relations, especially the social and cultural ones. “During discussions with representatives of various Japanese companies, I was pleasantly surprised by the valuable appreciation of the Moldovan citizens employed in different subdivisions of the latter. There are a few of them, but through their efficiency, they contribute to strengthening the friendship between our countries,” Tudor Ulianovschi said.
