Summer schools dedicated to young people to be held in southern Gagauz autonomy

Chisinau, 6 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Comrat authorities have announced the registration for the 12th issue of the Summer School, titled, UTA Gagauz-Yeri (Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia) – Young People’s Autonomy – 2018. Applications can be submitted till 20 July.
This year, the Summer School will start its works on 30 July and will be hosted by a leisure camp from the region. About 200 young people with ages between 17 and 30 years, who live or study in UTA Gagauz-Yeri, are scheduled to participate in the Summer School.
According to the organizers, the agenda of the meeting includes more actions, such as workshops of professional orientation, trainings for diminishing conflicts, courses for developing business in the region and information technologies, master-classes for giving a public speech, in mass media, photography, painting, sculpture, workmanship, etc.
The young people will have possibility to meet experts, journalists, political scientists, business people from the autonomy and Moldova, according to the site www.gagauzinfo.md.
The Summer School, UTA Gagauz-Yeri – Young People’s Autonomy, was established in 2006; it is held under the patronage of the bashkan (region’s governor) and is organized by the department for youth and sport of the Comrat regional government.
