Moldovan foreign affairs ministry to organize meeting of Moldovan ambassadors

Chisinau, 6 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE) organizes a meeting of Moldova’s ambassadors in Chisinau on 9-11 July, the MAEIE press service has reported.
The event’s goal is to consider issues of the work of the diplomatic missions and enhancing their efficiency, carrying out the foreign policy and establishment of new short- and medium-term tasks. The participants in the meeting will consider issues of the evolution of the international situation on the last period, in particular, provocations and threats to the international security.
A priority of the agenda represents also the problems faced by the Diaspora, ways of providing social protection of Moldovan citizens who temporarily work abroad.
To optimize the work of embassies, formulate concrete tasks for the institutions of the diplomatic service, in order to achieve the goals set by the authorities in the foreign policy, the event’s agenda includes meetings of the heads of diplomatic missions with Prime Minister Pavel Filip, Parliament Speaker Adrian Candu (10 July), President Igor Dodon (11 July), other heads of state institutions.
