Chisinau, 10 July /MOLDPRES/ - The qualification certificate of the auditor for general audit has been excluded from the list of permissive acts issued by the issuing authorities for private persons and legal entities for practicing the entrepreneurial activity. The draft law which stipulates this was approved by the cabinet and is to be considered by lawmakers.
According to the Finance Ministry, the legislative amendment is reasoned by the fact that the qualification certificate of the auditor for general audit is a document associated more with the providing of a status of qualifying a person, similar to lawyers and notaries and not with a regular permit for carrying out entrepreneurial activity.
Similar certificates are issued also in the justice sector, but they are not included in the Classified List of permissive acts. In this context, the application of the same principle has become necessary for all certificates which stay at the basis of carrying out professional activity.
The concerned document cannot be got through the Automated Information System for Management and Issuance of Permissive Acts.
The draft law will enter into force on the date of its publication in Moldova’s Official Journal.
