Chisinau, 11 July /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Pavel Filip, at a today’s cabinet meeting, referred to a notification on irregularities recorded in hospitals, made by a physician on social networks. The charges regard the setting of wrong diagnoses to children in municipal hospitals, in order to thus get more allocations from the National Social Insurances House, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The PM demanded prompt actions on behalf of the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry and the National Anticorruption Centre (CNA). “I do not want you to wait for the investigations and analyses of the Commission set up to this end, but to appeal to CNA, Prosecutor’s Office, so that they clear up things, given that, if such statements have been made, they know which are these cases, which are these names which hypothetically could commit such infringements,” the prime minister said.
At the same time, the prime minister urged all those who notice irregularities in the medical system: “Why they limit themselves only to a posting on the facebook? All those who see irregularities must go CNA and the Prosecutor’s Office to tell them about this and inform the state’s authorities in charge of this sector.”
In this context, the PM noted that he wanted an as quick as possible clarification of the situation. At the same time, the National Anticorruption Centre said that it had already taken note of this case and initiated investigations.
