Moldova interested in deepening cooperation relations with Council of Europe Development Bank

Chisinau, 11 July /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova is interested in the deepening of the cooperation relations with the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) and will support activities planned by common consent, in order to strengthen the bilateral partnership. Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Tudor Ulianovschi today made statements to this effect at a meeting with CEB Deputy Governor Rosa María Sánchez-Yebra Alonso, on a working visit to Moldova, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s press service has reported.
The officials exchanged opinions on the bilateral collaboration between Moldova and the Council of Europe Development Bank. The sides noted that, during those 20 years of partnership, more projects of national and social importance for the Moldovan citizens had been implemented.
Tudor Ulianovschi and Rosa María Sánchez-Yebra Alonso reviewed also the present projects, such as the construction of a penitentiary, social dwellings, including for war veterans and invalids, internally displaces persons from Moldova’s eastern districts, etc.
The officials welcomed the new framework agreement on loan for purchasing new ambulances for Moldova’s medical system. Tudor Ulianovschi and Rosa María Sánchez-Yebra Alonso also considered possibility of initiating projects in the IT sector, education, etc.
