Bad state of local road in eastern district in focus of Moldovan PM

Chisinau, 11 July /MOLDPRES/ – Prime Minister Pavel Filip drew attention today to bad state of a road connecting several villages in Anenii Noi district, which causes difficulties for inhabitants, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

"Well, I visited these localities and I saw that this road segment, where pass about a thousand lorries per day from a sandy quarry nearby, is destroyed. Three localities suffer from this part of the road," said PM.

Pavel Filip asked the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure (MEI) to explain the delays in rehabilitation of this road, a request made by the Premier after a visit to the district.

"I want you to document and have a concrete answer when and from what resources this part of the road is to be repaired and take all necessary measures so as to respect cargo of lorries that pass there. It must be done within a few days and letting people know when repair works will begin," specified Pavel Filip.
