Moldovan parliament's spring session to end on 27 July

Chisinau, 12 July /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament will hold its last meeting of the current session on 27 July 2018. Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu made statements to this effect today.

Under the legislation, the MPs will return to work in early next September and the first plenary meeting will take place in mid-September 2018 at the latest.

According to Article 37 of the Parliament’s Regulation, the legislative body holds two ordinary sessions per year. The spring session starts in February and cannot exceed the end of July. The autumn session starts in September and cannot exceed the end of December.

The first parliament’s plenary meeting of the spring session was held on 8 February 2018.
