Report on fulfillment of mandatory health insurances funds for 2017 to be published in Moldova's Official Journal

Chisinau, 12 July /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament’s decision on the report on the fulfillment of the mandatory health insurances funds for 2017 will be published in the 13 July issue of the Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial).  

Under the document, the fulfillment of the mandatory health insurances funds in 2017 stood at 6, 256, 635.3 lei in terms of revenues and 6, 260, 822.4 lei in terms of expenses and recorded a deficit of 4,187.1 lei.  

According to the document, the deficit was by 88,606.8 lei lower than the planned one and this fact is due to the collection of revenues above the level expected and fulfillment of expenses under the level planned.

At the same time, the tendency of the last years was maintained in 2017, when the transfers from the state budget have a diminishing weight from 51.3 per cent in 2013 to 40.4 per cent in 2017. The share of population insured by the state grew from 56 per cent to 56.4 per cent.    

Means worth 523, 859.3 lei were allocated for compensated medicines, - up by 23.3 per cent against 2016. This allowed extending the list of compensated medication.
