Procedure of denunciation of corruption deeds to be regulated by law in Moldova

Chisinau, 12 July /MOLDPRES/ - The procedure of denunciation of corruption deeds and the mechanism of protection of the integrity warners will be regulated by law. The MPs today made amendments to the law on integrity warners.

The legislative amendments are aimed at establishing an efficient mechanism of denunciation of corruption and of protection of integrity warner. This will lead to the enhancement of the denunciation of illegal practices and of other disclosures of public interest.

The new regulations set the way of notification of illegal practices from public and private entities, procedure of their consideration, rights of the integrity warners and measures of their protection, obligations of employers, competences of the authorities in charge of examining such disclosures and of the ones of protection of the integrity warners.

The document was worked out to carry out the national integrity and anticorruption strategy for 2017-2020.
