Moldovan parliament makes amendments to Labour Code

Chisinau, 12 July /MOLDPRES/ - The procedure of counseling of the sides of the collective labour dispute will be regulated by the Labour Code. The parliament adopted a draft law to this end in the final reading today.

The new amendments establish a fixed term of ten working days for the counseling of the sides of the collective labour dispute and issuance of a decision, if the members of the counseling commission reached an agreement. At the same time, by the joint written agreement of the commission members, the concerned term can be extended by five working days at the most.

There are similar practices in the field of counseling collective labour disputes in Lithuania, Romania and Ukraine.
