Chisinau, 12 July /MOLDPRES/ – There have been put into use 93 social apartments today in Nisporeni city. These ones will be offered to families with many children, young civil servants and persons with disabilities. Prime Minister Pavel Filip participated in inauguration of housing complex and handed the keys of flats to the first residents, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
The social flats in Nisporeni were built by support of the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEDB). Their cost amounts to €2.8 million. The dwellings are finished "turnkey" and adapted to the needs of people with special needs.
"We offer you housing, but you have to turn it into "home". Feel happy here at home with your families. The effort we make in Government is geared towards ensuring a better life," told Pavel Filip.
The PM specified that the support of young persons and setting of necessary conditions for them to remain in the country is one of Executive priorities. In this context, there were mentioned programmes "Prima Casa" (First home) and "Prima Casa 2" (First home 2), which allow dwellings purchase on advantageous terms.
"In upcoming days, we will come up with another surprise to expand the First home project by offering more incentives to families with many children. Through such measures we want to stimulate birth in Moldova", said Pavel Filip.
Altogether, by the end of 2018, the authorities plan to use over 350 social flats, intended for around 1,400 beneficiaries from six districts of Moldova.
