Emergency medical assistance point renovated in southern city of Moldova

Chisinau, 01 October /MOLDPRES/ – A new headquarters of the Emergency Medical Assistance Centre was renovated and opened today in locality Valea Perjei, Taraclia district.
According to the Ministry of Healthcare, Labor and Social Protection's information and media communication service, the new headquarters has an alert room, training room, chemist's shop, rest room for employees, dining rooms, sanitary rooms and maintenance rooms that have new equipment and furniture.
The Emergency Point provides medical assistance to 7,700 inhabitants of localities Valea Perjei and Corten. Also today, it was provided a new ambulance with all the necessary equipment for urgent medical assistance at the pre-hospital stage.
"I thank all the people who contributed to the renovation and modernisation of this facility, and with the distribution of the new ambulance, I am sure that the patients will benefit from quality medical services. We still have a lot to do to make the healthcare system the way we want it, but together we will improve things in it," said Minister of Healthcare, Labour and Social Protection, Silvia Radu.
There have been renovated 21 Emergency Medical Assistance Points in 2018.
