Chisinau, 3 October /MOLDPRES/- From 8 October, citizens will no longer have to submit criminal record to state institutions, and the other four documents: medical insurance policy, medical certificate, entrepreneur patent and certificate of no debts to state will be canceled in the near future. Prime Minister Pavel Filip made the statement today at an event dedicated to the data exchange platform – MConnect.
According to the government’s communication and protocol department, excluding paper documents will save people’s time, who will no longer have to make their way between the institutions, but it will exempt them from paying for the documents.
"We have the necessary components to work online and all the conditions for state institutions to no longer offer paper certificates. Today we all use electronic platforms, but in relation to the state, we have remained in the period of making citizens postmen. One of the goals is to get into the situation when citizens will no longer need certificates, but it will be enough to only submit the identity card to a state institution," he said.
As regards the insurance policy, the data of people are contained in the CNAM registers, the e-health certificate platform is functional for medical certificates and for the certificate on the lack of state debts all information is public and available electronically.
Filip said the list of canceled documents would be extended, and to provide affordable and citizen-centered services, he urged public institutions to be more insistent in using the MConnect platform. Today, over 30 institutions are connected to this platform, which performs real-time electronic data exchange.
The MConnect Platform is implemented by the Electronic Governance Agency to facilitate the electronic exchange of data between public authorities without requesting information from citizens and businesses in the form of certificates and reports. At the same time, it facilitates the creation of the necessary framework for the optimization and digitization of public services and implementation of single window principle.
