Alley of culture sector personalities, bust to Moldovan ruler, scholar to be constructed in two towns of Moldova

Chisinau, 3 October /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers, at a today’s meeting, approved the construction of an alley of culture personalities in the eastern Causeni town. The alley will be placed nearby the Community Centre   from Causeni, in order to eternalize the memory of the outstanding personalities who were born in Causeni, who had contributed to the development of architecture and arts.   

According to the government’s communication and protocol department, the busts of actors Ion Ungureanu and Grigore Grigoriu, film directors and script writers Emil Loteanu and Vasile Brescanu, prima donna of the Moldovan Opera, Maria Biesu, sculptor Ion Gutu and architect Eugen Bizgu will be set on the alley. The expenses for the making of the busts and arrangement of the adjacent ground will be covered from the budget of the Causeni district and town.     

Also today, decision-makers approved the building of the bust to Moldova’s Ruler Dimitrie Cantemir. The bust will be placed in the western Ungheni city, nearby the district public library, which bears the name of the ruler. Financial resources to this end will be allocated from the Ungheni district budget, as well as from donations and sponsorships.
