Chisinau, 4 October /MOLDPRES/ - A Chinese company has showed interest in the development of joint projects on the territory of the Marculesti Free International Airport, northern Floresti district, as well as in the export of food products from Moldova to China. Economics and Infrastructure Minister Chiril Gaburici and representatives of the company have analyzed the subject at a meeting.
Chiril Gaburici said that the Marculesti Free International Airport represented a strategic point for the volume of goods transiting Moldova, as it provides immediate access to the road, railway and air transport in a single knot.
„Moldova offers diverse opportunities for foreign investors, especially through providing fiscal facilities to economic agents working in industrial parks and free economic zones, such as a single 7-per cent tax, simplified reporting procedure – companies present a single report. We are ready to provide every needed support to the coming of big investors to our country,” the minister said.
According to the Economics and Infrastructure Ministry, the Chinese company’s representatives showed willingness to invest in Moldova, stressing that the country represents a linking bridge between the East and the West.
At present, eight residents work at the Marculesti Free Airport
