Vienna city hall donates ambulance, special vehicle to Chisinau municipality

Chisinau, 4 October /MOLDPRES/ - The city hall of Vienna, Austria, has donated an ambulance and a special vehicle for the collection of waste to the Chisinau city hall. The decision on the acceptance of the donation was approved by the Chisinau Municipal Council with the votes of 39 councilors today.

Under the document, the beneficiary of the ambulance will be the Moldovan capital’s social assistance and health general department and the special vehicle for the collection of waste will be subordinated to the Autosalubritate Municipal Administration enterprise.

The Volkswagen ambulance was made in 2006 and the MAN special vehicle – in 2007.

The donation was made within the programme on humanitarian assistance of the Vienna city – a partner city of the Chisinau municipality.
