Moldovan officials congratulate teachers from left bank of Dniester on Teacher's Day

Chisinau, 5 October /MOLDPRES/ - Representatives of the Reintegration Policies Bureau and delegation of Moldova to the Joint Control Commission (JCC) have moved to the Bender city and Dorotcaia village of the eastern Dubasari district to convey congratulatory messages to the teachers from the Latin-script schools, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.
Thus, on 4 October 2018, the members of Moldova’s delegation to JCC, representatives of the Bureau, Command of the Peacekeeping Forces of Moldova and Police Inspectorate from Bender visited the Alexandru cel Bun theoretical lyceum and the boarding gymnasium for orphan children from the settlement. The decision-makers offered thanks to all teachers for the noble work, loyalty to the country and profession, for the daily effort made for educating the young generation and wished them happiness, health, success, optimism and, not in the least, motivated, curious and grateful pupils.
At the same time, the Bureau’s representatives today visited the Dorotcaia theoretical lyceum from the Dubasari district, where they had a meeting with the leadership and teachers of the Stefan cel Mare si Sfant lyceum from Grigoriopol and Mihai Eminescu lyceum from Dubasari, as well as the gymnasiums from Corjova and Roghi, Dubasari district. They conveyed congratulatory messages on behalf of Deputy Prime Minister Cristina Lesnic, head of the Reintegration Policies Bureau, Marian Gherman and the entire team of the Bureau.
The addressing of the deputy prime minister in charge of carrying out policies for Moldova’s reintegration to the teachers present, as well as to the lyceums Evrica from Rabnita and Lucian Blaga from Tiraspol contained the following wishes and desiderata:
„In the context of the professional day – Teacher’s Day, we are willing to express gratitude for the dedication and motivation to be teachers and educate generations of pupils.
Your contribution to the development and qualification of each pupil is crucial, or the titanic work is worth the best appreciations.
You are the promoters of the cause of educating children, in fact, our future.
We thank you for the nobleness and faithfulness of this profession, as well as for daily efforts and sacrifices made.
Please, receive the sincerest wishes of good, health and good thoughts on this day.”
Taking advantage of this occasion, the Bureau’s representatives set forth the efforts made by Moldova’s authorities to solve the current problems and ensure the good work of the Latin-script schools from the Transnistrian region. They gave assurances of full willingness to further provide needed assistance and support and wished the teachers much positive energy and trust in their forces in the carrying out of new performances professionally and in the personal lives.
The World Teacher’s Day has been marked on 5 October since 1994. UNESCO chose this day to celebrate the teachers from all over the world, in order to ensure the fulfillment of the education needs of all pupils and mobilize the support for teachers.
