Moldovan family physicians can ask for assigning of free practice

Chisinau, 7 November /MOLDPRES/ - Family physicians can submit applications to the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS) for the assigning of the free practice.   

According to data by MSMPS, to get the certificate of holder of the practice, the family physician is to present a string of acts, filled in according to the requirements and scanned in a folder, the name of which must contain the family name, the first name and the institution where he/she works at present. The documents can be submitted till 18 November 2018.

The complete files will be sent by electronic means to the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry at the email [email protected] and on paper to the address of the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry, directorate of policies in the primary medical assistance, emergencies and community.

The titular physician is to individually choose one of the activity forms proposed within the new programme, such as: individual office of the family physician (founded by one family physician holder of the practice), centre of family physicians (founded by two and more family physicians holders of practice) and employee of an existing provider of primary medical assistance.  

The physicians will get a territorially delimited sector to be managed, which comprises, if appropriate, one or more settlements, houses or blocks of flats, with a number of residents fitting the norms recommended.
