More schools, kindergartens to be renovated in Moldova

Chisinau, 11 February /MOLDPRES/ - More general education institutions will benefit from endowments, works for construction and renovation, including of sanitary units. The cabinet approved a decision to this end today.  

Under the government’s decision, 30 million lei will be allocated for the repair and equipment of early education institutions and five million lei – for the construction and restoration of sanitary units. Thus, 53 institutions from 48 settlements from the districts of Calarasi, Ialoveni, Nisporeni, Straseni, Rezina and Telenesti are in the list of the kindergartens potentially benefiting from investments. At the same time, another 22 schools from Calarasi, Ialoveni, Floresti, Nisporeni and Straseni will benefit from the construction of new sanitary units.    

The draft was worked out by the Education, Culture and Research Ministry, in cooperation with the Social Investment Fund of Moldova and is aimed at both developing the infrastructure and endowing kindergartens and at improving the  conditions of hygiene and sanitation in the education institutions.
