Moldova's parliamentary factions to work based on own regulation

Chisinau, 11 February /MOLDPRES/ - The parliamentary factions and groups will work according to a special regulation in the new legislative body.  

According to the parliament’s press service, the regulation was approved at the last meeting of the parliament’s standing bureau. The new document comprises chapters regarding the goals, principles and powers of the faction, organization of its work, rights and obligations of the members, election and powers of the management, faction’s meetings.  

The regulation of each parliamentary faction or group will be approved concomitantly with the creation of the factions and will be presented to the parliament’s secretary general to be registered.

The law sees that the parliamentary factions are made up of at least five MPs and are set up during ten days after the formation of the new legislative body.
