Chisinau, 12 February /MOLDPRES/- The sectoral anti-corruption action plan in agri-food for 2019-2020 was published in the Official Journal of Moldova today.

The sector goal is to develop professional and institutional integrity, accountability, transparency and resistance to corruption risks of officials and civil servants.

The actions provided by the plan include: hiring and promoting public agents based on merit and professional integrity, respecting the legal status of declaring wealth and personal interests, not admitting and denouncing corruption, training staff and leaders of public entities on integrity rigors in the agrifood sector.

The plan can be reviewed annually. The Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment is responsible for the control over its execution.
