Chisinau, 13 February /MOLDPRES/- The activity of live flower traders in the capital will be monitored on 13-15 February in the context of growing demand for flowers on the eve of holidays. For this, the State Tax Service (SFS) will set up five tax posts.
According to the institution, during the holidays, the demand for flowers is increasing, and as a result, the risk of tax violations is up, such as failure to use cash control machine in order to reduce the incomes and taxes to the public budget.
In this context, SFS recommended that taxpayers comply with the provisions of the legislation in force, and buyers - to request the cash receipt at the flowers.
Earlier, the SFS has also set up such tax posts to oversee the activity of flower merchants. Thus, they operated before the beginning of the school year on two markets in the capital where flowers are sold.
During the monitoring period, the volume of deliveries made by flower merchants amounted to over 420 thousand lei, which, according to SFS, is higher than the sales recorded on ordinary days, in the absence of fiscal posts.
