Oleg Barba appointed as director of National Centre of Prehospital Emergency Medical Assistance

Chisinau, 14 February /MOLDPRES/- The deputy head of the Emergency Medical Service Chişinău, Oleg Barba, will hold today interim director of the National Center for Pre-hospital Emergency Medical Assistance. Also, the deputy head of strategic planning and development, as well as the deputy head of logistics CNAMUP, were dismissed.

According to the MSMPS press service, the appointment and dismissal orders were issued by the management of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection (MSMPS) following an analysis of the activity of the emergency medicine system. Thus, the ministry is currently working on the concept of reform of CNAMUP starting from a new structure, human resources, number of ambulances.

Currently, Emergency Medical Services are provided by the CNAMUP, in cooperation with the AVIASAN service under the Emergency Medicine Institute, the emergency departments of hospitals and other medical establishments.
