Chisinau, 14 February /MOLDPRES/- By the end of the electoral campaign, the Democratic Party plans to meet with at least 100,000 citizens. Also, in the coming days, Democratic candidates will be even more insistent in promoting the PDM message. PDM deputy head Vladimir Cebotari made the statement today in a briefing.

According to Cebotari, Democrats from the start of the electoral campaign had 4,500 meetings where they talked to over 220,000 citizens. "PDM has the most intense electoral campaign and once we get close to it, we will be more persistent in promoting the PDM message. We will inform the people about the four decisions they have to make on February 24, both in the referendum and the vote in Parliament on the uninominal and national constituencies, "Cebotari said.

He added that following talks with people, the leadership of the Democrats found that our country's inhabitants know all government actions over the past three years and appreciate the social initiatives. "We have seen in the districts that citizens know well what we have done, have good roads, projects to connect to aqueduct and sanitation, people enjoy that their families can benefit from the first house," he said.

The 24 February parliamentary elections will be held for the first time under a mixed electoral system.

Thus, 50 MPs will be elected on party lists and 51 - in uninominal constituencies. On the same day, a consultative referendum on reducing the number of deputies and their dismissal will be held.
