Post office from central Moldova village renovated

Chisinau, 14 February /MOLDPRES/ - The post office from the Step-Soci village, central Orhei district, today was inaugurated after renovation, according to European standards.

“This project would have been difficult to carry out, if we did not enjoy the support of local authorities. The new post office is opened in a space provided free of charge by the mayoralty of the Step-Soci village,” the director general of the Posta Moldovei (Moldova’s Post) state enterprise, Serghei Nastas, said at the inauguration ceremony.

For his part, the mayor of this settlement, Mihail Bacioi, noted that he appreciated this cooperation, as the works had been carried out qualitatively and in due time.

The restoration of the office from Step-Soci fits into a complex programme carried out by Posta Moldovei, in order to modernize the national post system and make it in line with the European requirements.
