Moldova's Competition Council to have 130 employees

Chisinau, 14 February /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament’s decision on the approval of the organizational structure and the limit staff of the Competition Council will be published in the Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial) on 15 February.
Under the parliament’s decision, the Competition Council will have 130 employees or by two staff units less than in 2018. Unlike the present structure, the basic subdivisions of the institution, which carry out anti-cartel actions, investigate anti-competition practices and the unfair competition, monitor the state assistance, remain unchanged. The amendments regard the subdivisions which provide organizational, material and financial assistance to the Plenum of the Competition Council and the structural units which fulfill the basic duties of the authority.
The present decision enters into force on the date of its publication in the Official Journal of Moldova.
