Slide formed on many roads in Moldova

Chisinau, 15 February /MOLDPRES/- Slide was maintained on some routes in the country last night. Under these conditions, road workers intervened and distributed 32 tons of anti-skid material.

According to the State Road Administration (ASD), Sarateni - Floresti, Cristesti - Leuseni, Chisinau - Bender and Rezina - Orhei are among the sectors on which the slopes were formed. Responsible people assured that all hazardous sectors are continuously monitored by road managers.

In the last hours, the patrol works and combating slide were carried out on the highways. The head of the ASD Operational Service, Sergiu Căpăţină, said that during the night, seven special vehicles and 19 road workers were involved in the works, distributing 32 tons of anti-skid material.

At the same time, ASD recommends that road users comply with the provisions of the road traffic Regulation in force.

According to meteorologists, the weather will slightly warm up in the coming days.
