Moldova attends exhibition of organic products in Germany

Chisinau, 15 February /MOLDPRES/- Six organic certified agricultural companies from the Republic of Moldova participate on 13-16 February in the Organic Trade Fair "BioFach 2019", held in Nuremberg, Germany.

The companies are part of a delegation of the Employers' Association, Alianța Lanțului Valoric în Agricultura Ecologică din Moldova (MOVCA). More than three thousand exhibitors participate in this year's edition of BioFach and over 50,000 visitors are expected. All organic foods exhibited at BioFach must meet the EU's environmental standards.

“We believe that as producers of organic products with a relatively new experience, enterprises in our country can offer customers worldwide both attractive price and quality. Moldova has excellent products and we are committed to delivering grain, fruit, nuts, wines and other products that meet all ecological production standards, " MOVCA Executive Director Alexei Micu said.

MOVCA is a non-governmental organization that supports organic agriculture and food in the Republic of Moldova. MOVCA members are manufacturers, processors, distributors, importers, exporters, consultants, retailers, consumers and others.
