Today - last day when results of electoral polls can be made public

Chisinau, 18 February /MOLDPRES/- The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) announced today that it is the last day when the results of electoral polls can be made public.

According to the CEC, the results of the polls can be made public at least five days before the election.

At the same time, during the electoral period, any opinion polls on voters' political preferences can only be made subject to the prior notification of the Central Electoral Commission.

Also, on election day, until the polling stations are closed, it is forbidden to advertise in media materials, including interviews with voters, the number of votes cast by the candidates during the day and their chances, including the exit-poll results.
