Applications for voting at place of stay can be submitted by 23 February

Chisinau, 18 February /MOLDPRES/- Applications for voting at the place of stay can be submitted by 23 February, the day before the parliamentary elections.

According to the Central Electoral Commission, the voter who, for reasons of health or other reasons, cannot come to the polling station, may ask the electoral office to vote in the mobile ballot box.

Applications shall be made in writing until 18.00 on the day preceding the vote. On election day, the applications may be made in writing until 15:00, if a medical certificate is presented. Only people with visual disabilities can submit applications for voting at the place of residence, including orally.

The people vote according to the voters' list for voting at the place of residence, drawn up by the electoral office of the polling station under the submitted applications.

The parliamentary elections will take place on 24 February. On the same day, a consultative referendum on reducing the number of MPs and their dismissal will be held.
