Falesti hospital equipped with new appliances

Chisinau, 21 February /MOLDPRES/- The Falesti district hospital was modernized and equipped with advanced devices, under a project supported by the National Health Insurance Company (CNAM) and local authorities.

"Several machines from the medical institution in Falesti district had to be renewed. We started with the radiology department, where we brought modern equipment, " director of the Western Territorial Agency of CNAM Oleg Belbas said.

For his part, director of Falesti district hospital Iurie Osoianu said that the new digital device will allow a higher level of diagnosis and will ease the work of the district specialists, who will be able to send the results for consultations to colleagues from national clinics.

The cost of the Falesti project is over 1.7 million lei, of which one million lei was paid by the National Health Insurance Company, and Falesti hospital allocated 419.6 thousand lei and the district council – 300,000 lei.
