Police detained criminal ring stealing parts from luxury cars

Chisinau, 27 February /MOLDPRES/- A criminal ring stealing parts (headlights, parking sensors, bumpers, goggles, radiators) from luxury cars parked in the streets of the capital was decommissioned by the police jointly with the employees of the Criminal Police Division of the Odessa region, Ukraine.
According to the police, the members of the group, five men aged between 32 and 43 years old, born in the Transnistrian region, are suspected of committing more than 15 thefts for two months. The amount of damage in Moldova amounts to two million lei.
Members of the group were detained, and if they are found guilty, they run the risk from 7 to 12 years in prison.
