Allowances for persons' maintenance in social institutions to increase by 03 per cent

Chisinau, 27 February /MOLDPRES/ – The amounts allocated for the maintenance of the persons accommodated in the social institutions will be increased by 03 per cent, according to the consumer price index for previous year. The Executive has approved a resolution on the issue today, the government's communications and protocol department has reported.

The funds will be used to provide first – aid products such as food, medicine, clothing, footwear and dressing material.

The new rules enter into force on 01 March 2019.

For project implementation from the state budget (BS) in 2019, it was allocated an amount of MDL 1 million 950 thousand.

The allowances for the maintenance of the persons accommodated in the social institutions are indexed yearly, depending on the index of the increase of the consumer prices for previous year.
