Chisinau, 27 February /MOLDPRES/ – The entrepreneurs who will deliver goods to Norway and Switzerland might be exempt from the requirement to obtain a certificate of origin form A, which issuing costs €06. This facility would benefit economic agents that will require inclusion in the Registered Exporters Information System (SIEI) (REX – System). The provision was approved at the Executive's meeting today.
According to the Customs Service's information and media communication service, the registration procedure is to be developed, promoted and approved by 2020 at the latest. Therefore, once registered, the licensed exporters will be able to confirm the origin of goods only on the basis of a declaration applied on a commercial document.
The statistical data indicates a significant increase in export volumes in both Switzerland and Norway. In 2018, the export figures recorded in Switzerland an increase by 31 per cent, amounting to almost $65 million. Also, in Norway, Moldova exported goods in the amount of $0.4 million, the increase being double the values recorded in 2017.
Also today, the Government has approved a number of decisions for adjusting the normative framework to the changes made previously in the Customs Code (CV). These ones mainly concern the simplification of terms for obtaining authorisations for the use of simplified procedures, like: AEO (Authorised Economic Agent), PVD (clearance procedure at home) or EA (Approved Exporter).
