Protection, guard state service's officers to get monthly allowance of MDL 1,500 for rental of housing in Moldova

Chisinau, 27 February /MOLDPRES/ – The officers of the Protection and Guard State Service (SPPS) who do not have individually or together with their spouses own or service dwellings in their places of employment will receive a monthly allowance of MDL 1,500 for rental of housing. A decision to this effect was approved by the Executive today, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

In order to obtain the allowance, the applicant will have to submit a set of documents: application; hiring agreement, registered with the State Tax Service (SFS); certificate issued by the cadastral body confirming that the officer does not own a dwelling in the respective locality; civil status certificates, workplace certificate of the husband/wife that they do not benefit from the allowance and the copy of the officer's ID.

The allowance is not paid to officers domiciled in localities within a radius of less than 30 km from the workplace. The indemnity payment will be made monthly, and decisions to grant or refuse will be approved by a commission of 07 persons and headed by the SPPS's Director.

For that purpose, it was allocated an amount of MDL 2,880,000 for 2019.
