Moldovan official journal roundup for tomorrow

Chisinau, 28 February /MOLDPRES/- The Civil Code of the Republic of Moldova with all amendments will be republished tomorrow in the Official Journal of Moldova.

The document has about 300 pages. According to the new regulations, the national legal infrastructure will be modernized according to European and international trends. It sees that the 4th Book - Inheritance will be set up, which will include traditional provisions for the division of the inheritance into the law and testament.

The new version of the Civil Code will also include rules on consumer protection, which establish general rules from which it will not be possible to derogate.

Many obligations have been supplemented and amended, including those in the construction investment contract.

The new version of the Civil Code will come into force on 1 March 2019.
