Best teachers of 2019 nominated in Gagauzia

Chisinau, 28 February /MOLDPRES/- The best teachers of 2019 were nominated in Gagauzia. The winners were nominated at a festive event organized by the Education Directorate of the autonomy.

According to the institution, the laureates of the contest Teacher of the Year in Gagauzia-2019 became Valentina Metliţchi, a teacher of the M.Guboglo high school in Ceadir-Lunga, Alexandra Iularji, a professor of Gagauz language and literature at Gymnasium in Congazcic village.

As the Best onset teaching in the region in 2019 was nominated Stefan Bejan, professor of history at the M. Eminescu high school in Comrat.

The contest reached its 12th edition. More than a hundred teachers of different profiles participated in the competition.

Previously, the Education Directorate of the region announced the winner of the Educator of the Year in Gagauzia contest. This year, the best teacher in the sector was named Ludmila Berber, a Romanian-language teacher at the pre-school institution in the village of Tomai.

There are 49 educational institutions in Gagauzia.
