State Fiscal Service to verify passenger carriers from Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 28 February /MOLDPRES/ - Economic agents providing services in the road transport sector on the municipal routes from the Moldovan capital will be monitored by employees of the State Fiscal Service (SFS).

Thus, during next March, the employees of the fiscal authorities will pay both unforeseen visits and will supervise the work of the passenger carriers directly, through undercover agents.

According to SFS, the monitoring actions will take place in the context of multiple cases of infringement of the legislation, which leads to the increase in the risk of tax non-compliance and namely failure to show all incomes and respectively, the diminution of taxes related to the budget.

SFS recommended that tax payers comply with the provisions of the legislation in force and passengers – ask for travel tickets when moving by public transport.
