Fiscal revenues to Moldova's national public budget up by 9.2 per cent in first two months of 2019 against previous year

Chisinau, 1 March /MOLDPRES/ - The State Fiscal Service (SFS) has brought by 473 million lei more revenues in the first two months of this year against the same period of 2018. The fiscal revenues amounted to 5.6 billion lei.
The SFS spokeswoman, Olga Baciu, said that the revenues gained by SFS to the national public budget had increased by 9.2 per cent in January-February 2019 against the same period of the year before.
According to the fiscal institution, 2.4 billion lei was collected in the state budget – by 229.1 million lei more against the same period of 2018. The fiscal revenues to local budgets grew by 516.3 million lei up to 4.2 million lei; the ones to the state social insurances budget increased by 106.9 million lei up to two billion lei. About 705.2 million was accumulated in the mandatory health insurances accounts – by 132.8 million lei more against January and February 2018.
An annual report of the Finance Ministry shows that, in 2018, the fiscal revenues to the state budget amounted to more than 16.4 billion lei – by 15.1 per cent more against the same period of the year before. The fiscal revenues to the budgets of the administrative and territorial units stood at 3.7 billion lei, to the state social insurances budget – 12.6 billion lei. The taxes collected by SFS in the mandatory health insurances accounts amounted to more than four billion lei in 2018.
Under the state budget law for 2019, about 88.6 per cent of the revenues will come from the collection of taxes, with a 12.6-per cent growth against the last year.
