Chisinau, 4 March /MOLDPRES/- Teaching staff involved in collecting money in schools and kindergartens will be dismissed. Acting mayor of Chisinau Ruslan Codreanu made the statement today.

The official noted that the Education Directorate will issue an order according to which the managers of the educational institutions will have to make the inventory of the goods in the schools and kindergartens by May 1, and to ensure the transfer to the accounting of all the goods. "Not once I heard stories from parents that every new group that comes is buying something for the educational institution and when the group is leaving - the things also are leaving. Therefore, I ask to be taken inventory in all schools so that every parent to know what has been purchased in the institution and its own assets,” he said.
At the same time, Codreanu asked that the information on the amounts earmarked from budget for each educational institution in 2019 should be made public by 1 April. Representatives of municipal authorities will carry out checks to monitor whether the order is respected.
