First municipal investment forum to be organised in Chisinau municipality

Chisinau, 04 March /MOLDPRES/ – It will be organised the municipal investment forum (FIM) in premiere in Chisinau municipality. The event will take place on 30 – 31 May 2019, gathering around 500 participants from more states, aiming to attract new investments in Moldovan capital.

The representatives of the Chisinau's twin cities, business community in Moldova and abroad, diplomatic missions accredited in Moldova and associative sector are expected to attend the forum.

The event is organised especially to facilitate the attraction of new investments and investors in Chisinau. There are expected to participate such countries, like: USA, Romania, Germany, Sweden, Armenia and Ukraine.

"This is the first similar forum organised in Chisinau. We see some changes in the investments' volume, number of foreign – owned economic agents, growth of exports, and emergence of partnerships that will facilitate the transfer of experience, expertise, technology and innovation. The plenary sessions will include vital issues such as agriculture and modern urban planning, smart city technologies, economic cooperation, municipal services, infrastructure modernisation and the place that young people must have in Chisinau," specified the Chisinau municipal council's (CMC) councilor, Viorel Chivriga, after its weekly meeting.

During the event, there will be presented the capital investment projects, and it will be made some visits to municipal enterprises.
